Pixel Tanks

Tiny Tanks is a top down combat game where the player controls a tank, and must defeat all enemies in an increasingly hard campaign.

The game is not yet fully finished: more content will be added soon, and bugs could be encountered (nothing gamebreaking though).

The game is available for Linux and Mac, but it has NOT been tested on those platforms. Please report any bugs you encounter !

 Features:

• A smart AI for the enemies, allowing them to dodge your bullets, use predictive aiming, take cover, ... All enemies have a unique behaviour, not all of them can do everything !
• Weapons and abilities that can be combined to perform devastating combos !
• A level editor that allows you to create custom levels by choosing a layout, enemy composition, theme and music !
• Achievements !
• Multiple languages (for now : French and English)

Controls :

• Controls are rebindable in the game.
• WASD to move around
• Left click to shoot
• Right click to use a secondary weapon (Mines, magnetic harpoon)
• F to use the shockwave.

The game was made in the first half of 2024 as an optional college project. It was worked on by a single person.

It is heavily inspired by other, similar games, such as Tiny Tanks by Retro Gears, and Wee Tanks by Studio Kit.
